Stars Will Shine Bright at the 21th Annual Bravo! For the Children Event.  During the twenty-first Annual Bravo! For the Children event, expect more than 300 supporters to share their time and treasure to support the St. Stephen’s Community House Christ Child-Child Care Center.    

The Child Care Center provides over 60 families with affordable quality childcare, allowing them to maintain their independence and self-sufficiency.  

The evening starts with a silent auction of enticing packages including golfing at Muirfield, the Lakes, great OSU memorabilia including a signed basketball from Coach Matta, beautiful jewelry and many other exciting items donated by area business and individual donors.

Bravo!  Development Corporation provides a delectable meal. The scene for the evening will be electrified by smooth music, a wonderful auction and networking with Columbus’ finest.   

Tears are sure to flow and hearts will be touched as the attendees view a stirring video about how families’ lives have been changed as a result of sending their children to St. Stephen’s.

November 2012-The Gingerbread Fantasy and Fashion Show

This is a great Columbus holiday tradition, featuring a unique display of over a dozen fantastical gingerbread structures, all of editable ingredients, created by chefs all over Central Ohio. Enjoy a traditional tea celebration, an extraordinary fashion show, and purchase holiday gifts in our exclusive holiday auction. The Gingerbread Fantasy helps to raise dollars to benefit the Youth Service Programs offered at St. Stephen’s.  Contact Renea Williams at 294.6347 ext. 124 for details.

December 15 & 16 2012 Christmas Care One New Toy Program

The Christmas Care program has been in existence for over 61 years and manages to reach over 3500 families during the holidays with the support of the Central Ohio AFL-CIO, local schools, corporate champions and generous citizens. The Christmas Care program gives a hand to families during the holiday season who find themselves in a critical position due to situations such as fixed incomes, job lay-offs and/or family illness. In an effort to minimize some of the hardship felt by families, St. Stephens will collect non-perishable food items, new toys or receive financial contributions towards the purchase of needed items.
